Nebraska Danger Dance Team

- This is a professional dance team seeking dancers ages 17 and up for the Nebraska Danger Football Team!

 

-Dance/Cheer experience is required

 

-Dancers will be compensated for game performances and promotional events

 

What will the teams responsibilities be?

 

- Dancers will rehearse 2-4 hours twice a month with extra practices on game days.

- Practices will be on Sundays between 6-10 pm.

- Dancers will perform at 7 home games in the months of February through June 2012 with possible
   pre-season game and championship game performances.

- Dancers will be invited to work promotional events for the team.

- Dancers will be held to a high level accountability on and off the field.

- Along with dancing, the team will also participate in cheer leading and fan interaction.

 

-The Danger game schedule is TBA dates will be confirmed in October.

FAQ's

WHAT WILL THE AUDITION PROCESS BE LIKE?
The audition will consist of learning a one minute routine in the style of jazz/hip hop.  After learning the routine, groups of 3 or 4 will be called up to perform front of a group of judges.  There will be a section of the song that will be improvisation,  each individual will have a chance to show the judges thier special tricks or talents.  example:  tumbling/cheer jumps/dance tricks

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR DURING THE AUDITION?
Bring comfortable shoes to dance in, jazz shoes and sneakers will be the best fit for this particular audition.
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. No loose clothing or articles
Make sure hair is pull away from the face a little make up does'nt hurt.
LOOK YOUR BEST!!!  You want to stick out in the crowd in a good way!

WHEN WILL I FIND OUT THE RESULTS OF THE AUDITION?
We will post it online within 1 or 2 days of the audition, and email those involved for further instructions.
