Smitty’s Performing Arts Center is very excited to introduce and house two of the newest teams to Central Nebraska, The Nebraska Nitro Elite and The Nebraska Danger Dance Team.  The elite programs are designed to bring together talented dancers and cheerleaders of all ages who love the too entertain.

Coached by Tim Smith, choreographer to Super Bowl Half-Time Shows in 2009 & 2011 including entertainment with the Black Eyed Peas, Usher and Christina Aguilera and also joining him, Jamie Jones former Professional Nighthawk Cheerleader and New Danger Indoor Football Dance Team Coach will be leading and sharing their amazing love for dance/cheer with new choreography and techniques.  The team will also be introduced to guest choreographers and entertainment experts throughout the year, who bring new concepts, styles and creativity to those involved.

Dancers and Cheerleaders from as far as Lincoln to North Platte and everywhere in between are invited to join this exciting sports entertainment team.  This non-competitive team is designed to bring together dancers and cheerleaders from all over Nebraska, but also be an outlet and support for school coaches and sponsors.  Information including choreography, concepts, costuming, music, and editing will be shared throughout the year. 

Performance opportunities that are already lined up for the 2011-2012 season include professional and collegiate athletic events, high school state events, The Nebraska State/Cheer Competition and a trip to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, for season 2012-2013!!
