SMITTY'S EXTREME TEAM
Smitty's Extreme Team is a group of talented young dancers ages 6-18. Every year all students are required to audition in order to be eligible for Smitty's Extreme Team. All team members dance between 5 -15 hours per week in technique and performance classes. The Extreme Team attends three competitions a year;
two in-state, and one out-of-state. Smitty's Staff strives to challenge its dancers to achieve their highest potential in the studio and at competition.

Requirements:
Students who are interested in becoming an Extreme Team member are required to attend Smitty's Extreme Team Summer Camp. Auditions will follow and are also
mandatory.
Commitment:
Dancers on Smitty's Extreme Team are expected to be highly committed to their team. All students must attend all rehearsals, shows, and competitions with out any absences. Please keep in mind that competitive dance involves a high level of time and financial commitment.
Opportunity:
The Extreme Team has the opportunity to perform in the Extreme Team Showcase, three competitions, and Smitty's Spectacular year-end show. In 2009, Smitty's Extreme Team members will have the opportunity to
attend the international dance festival Dance Excellence in Los Angeles, California where they will take classes with professional teachers and perform at Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm.
